May 13: From the coffee cafe we walked through Concordia University and oogled the new playing fields. From there it was on to Fernhill Park and across 42nd St. to the country feel of an old area of Portland without sidewalks. On the way back we crossed paths with bike riders touring the streets and parks.
May 20 Meet at 826 SE Bidwell at 8:00 a.m. for a carpool out the Gorge and a hike of Angel's Rest. A bit different, and we assume good weather will continue. Bring a sandwich and water or whatever works for you. It is about 5 miles round-trip.
