July 22: From Wallace Park we went east to the former Consolidated Freightways tract, which now had new offices and vast parking lots. From there we found our way through the Pearl District, past Union Station and to the river for more views of Portland that one does not get to see from a car. Some old landmarks had changed, some new buildings had replaced the old.

Jul 29 we will take a break. No walk. August 5 we meet at 826 SE Bidwell for a tour over the Sellwood Bridge and beyond. 9am.
