On January 13  We took a 6.5 mile loop starting at Belmont and CC Blvd. heading west a few blocks then we cut south to Hawthorne and groked the shops along the way. Trees on top of Mt. Tabor beckoned so we took SE Harrison and Lincoln to the SW corner of Mt. Tabor where we found a trail to the mid level views and another to the summit. We returned down the north side with a glimpse of the past in the cut-away volcano.

Jan. 20 we will meet at 826 SE Bidwell for a walk in the Oaks Bottom area and views of the Sellwood Bridge work during the week when it will be closed (use Ross Island Bridge to get here instead of Sellwood Br.). I scouted locations on the west side and found that none offered views as nice as the ones availabe from Sellwood Park and river front. Coffee served before, during and after the walk.
