December 11, we walked over to Unthank Park and stood near the Taj Mahal-looking dome that had been a landmark on North Williams Ave. From there we wandred back to Grant Park, espying some of the territory previously walked but now seen anew. We walked a normal pace around the Grant track and deduced that our speed was a mile in 18 minutes, so maybe most of our walks are close to 6 miles long, give or take.

Next Sunday December 18, we are going to Hollywood!  Park near the Hollywood Theater (4122 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR Map). We will walk around the area east of Grant H.S.

Planning ahead: We will take a break December 25 and January 1, with walks resuming January 8, 2012
