March 13: A light rain fell on us most of the way from Broadway over to Laurelhurst Park and the cafe for java. On the way back we stopped in at Hollywood Vintage, a trippy place with '50s and '60s vintage clothing: hats, glasses, shirts, tuxes, uniforms, you name it.

Ralph listens to the three-wheeled boom box. It was full of speakers.
