February 20: We walked a loop from Columbia Park, along the bluff behind University of Portland with great views of Swan Island shipyard, and then followed a road down to the river's edge. There we encountered cement shoring, wild art on sticks, the Burlington Northern bridge, with huge decorations, and then a road leading up out of the river flats and to coffee time. Take a look at this series of images and you will maybe see why we plan to go back... this was an eye opener.

February 27 we will meet at PSU Park Blocks at Montgomery for a foray into the West Hills. Stairs expected. Be ready to start at 9 a.m. but we sometimes hang around until 9:15. No need to say whether  you plan to attend or not, we will know by the time we leave.
