April 15: With Peet's as a starting point we wended to Legacy Emanuell Hospital and toured the new Randall Children's Hospitall; 8th floor views of Porland included a distant image of Jefferson. We waked past SEI and then it was on over to the Mississppi Ave. scene of the great Yuppie invasion. White to black to white was the historical pattern, part of which we have seen in our time. Returning to Peet's we saw Irving Park being utilized by several groups. Most all white folks. Changes were poignantly evident.
